Number 7: The Richest 10% of Americans own 84% of all stocks.

Number 8:  Fewer than 10% of Americans or Brits enter retirement able to sustain their pre-retirement lifestyle. That is due to a combination of bad spending habits, questionable investment choices and not starting early enough.

Number 9: In the last 20 Years the Best Performing Major Index has been the NASDAQ 100 with a return of about 470%. The UK FTSE has been the worst performer of the major stock markets, producing just 25% and 60% after dividends.

Number 10: In 2016, despite the bull market, only 52% of Americans and fewer Brits were invested in the Stock Market.  The 1999 .com crisis and the 2008 financial crisis has gave the general public the idea that investing in markets long-term is unsafe.  It is estimated than 92% of richer Americans and Europeans are invested in markets, however.
