Who are RL360?

Isle of Man-based RL360 is a subsidiary of International Financial Group Limited or IFGL. RL360 operates in Latin America, the UK, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

As of year-end 2023, IFGL had nearly 600 employees and over 200,000 clients, and managed 25 billion USD worth of assets.

According to actuarial consultancy AKG, IFGL has the best rating of any offshore life operation, a B+. Furthermore, AKG rated IFGL’s strategy and service quality with five stars.

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority is the principal regulatory body overseeing RL360 and all other IFGL insurance operations. These entities are subject to several global regulatory frameworks. The Labuan Financial Services Authority and the Hong Kong Insurance Authority have also granted authorization to RL360.

2008 saw the formation of Royal London 360, the global division of the Royal London Group, from the merger of two reputable Isle of Man-based life companies: Scottish Life International Insurance Company Limited (founded in 1996) and Scottish Provident International Life Assurance Limited (founded in 1991).

Being the first global life firm to successfully complete a management-led acquisition backed by private equity capital, RL360 made history in 2013. This significant achievement cleared the path for ongoing growth and other acquisitions. In order to facilitate this expansion, IFGL was established, and RL360 was the first business under it.
