Are Mainland Chinese the real crazy rich Asians?

The movie Crazy Rich Asians is entertaining but propagates a lot of myths. Who are the real super rich, and merely rich, Asians, statistically speaking?

As a quick note, the statistics should have been:

  1. $3.5M for China
  2. $2.8M for Japan

So millions not thousands!
