Barclays International Account Opening Requirements

To open a Barclays International Bank Account, clients must:

  • Reside in a qualifying country
  • Have a minimum balance of £100,000 (or equivalent) in savings or investments
  • Maintain a minimum of £250,000 (or equivalent) to access Relationship Management services

    Adeel leads Barclays’ Credit, Macro, Securitized Products, and Equities businesses as Head of Global Markets. Since joining Barclays in 2008, he has held leadership roles, including Co-Head of Global Markets and Global Head of Credit Products. Adeel earned his master’s in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics and serves on the board of EMpowerUK.
