Kaeva ha emesso fino a 1 miliardo di sterline di senior secured notes con interesse fisso del 9% annuo pagato semestralmente. Le obbligazioni erano disponibili in GBP, EUR e USD.

Il bond, emesso l’8 febbraio 2019, è scaduto l’8 febbraio 2024 ed era la prima tranche di un programma da 5 miliardi di sterline. I proventi netti erano destinati a prestiti anticipati o investimenti garantiti da asset.

Le note erano garantite dai progetti stessi (senior secured) e quotate su Euronext Dublin e sulla Borsa di Francoforte, facilmente negoziabili. Il titolo può essere detenuto tramite strumenti come UCITS, ISA, SIPP, SSAS, QROPS e Portfolio Bonds.

Aggiornamenti sul Bond Kaeva PLC

  • Il 9 aprile 2022, Kaeva ha ritirato le note con scadenza 2024 dalla Borsa di Francoforte; il 6 febbraio 2023 ha fatto lo stesso su Euronext Dublin.
  • Nel 2023 non sono stati percepiti proventi, rispetto ai 1,9 milioni di sterline dell’anno precedente.
  • Nell’anno conclusosi il 31 agosto 2023, non è stato pagato alcun coupon perché il debitore (Kaeva Pty Ltd) non ha versato le somme dovute.
  • Il 9 luglio 2023 è stato avviato il processo di liquidazione per Kaeva Pty Ltd.; ciò ha attivato immediatamente la scadenza delle note senior.
  • Non essendo emersi asset sufficienti, Kaeva Ltd ha informato creditori e investitori che non riceveranno pagamenti. Tuttavia, l’azienda continua a operare come going concern.
  • Il 14 marzo 2024 si è tenuta una riunione informale dei noteholders per discutere il ritardo nei pagamenti e le prossime azioni. Saranno necessarie ulteriori votazioni sulle modifiche ai termini del contratto.
