This week I speak about the one of the most ironic news stories I have seen in the last few years.
The story is about a lady who posted a controversial Twitter post where she demanded that only men earning $500,000 a year should respond to her add.
The response was brutal – “Your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity … in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won’t be getting any more beautiful!” the banker wrote.
“So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset,” he said. “Let me explain, you’re 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you!”
“It doesn’t make good business sense to “buy you” (which is what you’re asking) so I’d rather lease,” he said.
However, I have seen many wealthy people (or should I say formerly wealthy people in some cases) fall for this “deal”.
So in today’s post I speak about this story, and the numerous cases I have seen in the expat market, of men accepting silly demands from girlfriends, partners and wives.

I could not agree more. My first wife was a gold digger. I ALLOWED her, to bankrupt my very successful business. Long story, like most. I had lots of issues about money, since I was raised by a concentration camp survivor. I keep reading than more than 90% of American women are looking for ‘rich’ guys. Even worse, they are not looking for ‘real’ rich guys, just the appearance of wealth, or a very good line of B.S. from a guy. The best and most beautiful young American women I have passed up, I met while doing relatively low paying and very low status jobs. They got to know me, from working with me. Next millions of dollars I make, will be in nonprofits; and I will continue living my low cost lifestyle: $500 cars, off grid power, clothes from Goodwill and friends, $2 a day or less for food, nearly free health care, living in $500 tiny houses, and on and on. These things are very easy to do, when you are as young as me. I am only 67.

Very Interesting article……i would like to add that there is a lot of men who are happy to provide…. Most African Men have no problem providing for a woman… I am not sure why men most especially from Europe find it soo offensive.WHY??
